Navigating the AI Landscape
In this episode, we kicked off our Ask Me Anything About AI series. We explored how AI is reshaping the way we approach search engine optimization. Kent and I discussed the emerging terms like Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). These are crucial as they determine how businesses show up in AI-driven searches, whether it's on ChatGPT or Google's AI overview.

To put it simply, achieving a balance between optimizing for AEO, SEO, and human readability is key. The simple strategy to improve how your business shows up in AI search is to test your business's presence on AI platforms and identify content gaps to fill, and then create content to fill those gaps.
The Power of YouTube in 2026
We also tackled whether businesses should be on YouTube by 2026. The unanimous answer was yes. As Kent shared, "YouTube is a no-brainer because video content remains a powerful tool for engagement and SEO." With Google's integration of AI features, having a presence on YouTube is more vital than ever.

Kent and I both shared insights into using AI as a content multiplier on social media. Whether it's enhancing static images into engaging video posts or utilizing AI for post-processing tasks, AI can amplify your content’s reach.
